Without a doubt, Pharoah's Pizza is Newberry's best independent eatery. Located near the History Downtown area, Medhat (Matt) and crew provide exceptional service, value, and taste.

Whether you're looking for Italian, fast food, pizza, Greek, or southern specialties, you'll find something on the extensive menu.

Items are very reasonably priced and the food is always prepared to perfection. If you're lucky enough to have the chance to eat there regularly the extremely pleasant and fun staff will get to know you on a first name basis and will often have your favorite drink in hand when they come to take your order.

Service is fast and friendly with a staff who make you feel welcome and like you're "part of the family."

The style of the restaurant is simple with booths and tables and a separate non-smoking area. Egyptian art decorate the walls.

The owner is usually on hand to greet patrons and often "makes the rounds" checking on customers and their meals. Should you ever have any complaint (which would be rare) Medhat will take care of it immediately... with a smile and apology.

The prices are excellent for the quantity and quality of the food received.
