Beware of restaurants with few patrons; not worth your time or money For a breakfast, burger and tip, I wasted $20 this AM at Sweetwater Grill and Cafe on Main Street in Summerville, SC. This was the second time my husband had convinced me to go to this restaurant; I was disappointed that we waited 30-45 minutes to be served on our first visit and disappointed again today to not only wait 30 minutes for our food, but when it arrived it was cold. The waitress apologized profusely and offered to bring us something else but we had mostly finished eating (and grumbling)by that time. The table next to ours had sent sausage back to the kitchen to be warmed as their meal (or part of it) was cold when served also. There were only a few patrons in the restaurant when we arrived and left; the reason for lack of patrons was soon apparent. I, personally have too many choices of restaurants on my few visits out to eat and will not return to this restaurant nor will I recommend it to anyone. [05 Oct 2006 14:00:56]

Wonderful Luncheon Experience!!!! I just visited Summerville this past week for the first (of I hope many) time. My niece and her family live there and strongly recommended this establishment. My sister in law, niece, great nephew and myself ate lunch at the Sweetwater Grill and I have to say that was one of the best meals I enjoyed while in the area. I had she-crab soup and fried eggplant. This was my first time to try she crab soup and it was divine! My sister in law and niece had eaten this at several area restaurants before and said Sweetwater's was the best! I would strongly recommend this establishment to anyone. Our experience was most memorable. [24 Feb 2007 15:25:32]

BEST SALADS EVER We recently tried this local restaurant by the train tracks in our new small town of Summerville, SC and the meal and service were both very good. I had the Pecan Chicken Salad and my wife had the Thunder bird Salad - both were amazing! [04 Jul 2007 07:33:10]
