5 Star For a Reason! I attended an affair at this restaurant and was VERY impressed with all aspects of my visit. The room was clean and well decorated. Fresh flowers were arranged beautifully on all tables. The fireplace was warm and soothing and added to the ambiance.
As I entered the room a drink was placed in my hand by one of the many attentive servers.
Each course was served in synchronization. This show of elegance made the presentation unforgettable. The waitresses were polite and graceful and perfectly in sync.
The lettuce for the salad could have been a bit crisper but was still lovely. The portions were ample and the main dish was served hot. Every bite of food was seasoned to perfection proving to be a delight for the palate.
If you do eat here, I advise you not to skip dessert. My chocolate cake with chocolate frosting was drizzled in raspberry sauce and served with fresh raspberries as a garnish.
The most notable compliment to the staff is the fact that NOTHING was lacking. From the dinner roll to the iced tea, (which was a delicious taste treat)every aspect of the meal was carefully planned and considered.
this restaurant is 5 star for a reason. If you wish to indulge yourself in a well deserved treat, Woodlands is the perfect choice. [08 Feb 2007 01:52:19]
