The Worst meal I have ever eaten in my life
We visited Keystone for the Labor Day weekend. This region of South Dakota is one of the most beautiful in the country and Keystone is a good base. Restaurants close early and the Railhead was the only place open at 9pm.

The meal was the worst I have ever been served in my life. After waiting an hour, the 'Chicken Smother' arrived. It was accompanied by a bowl of vegetable that were still in the water they had been cooked in. The food was greasy and tasteless. Service was miserable. If this is your only dining option, get in your car and go to another town.    [07 Sep 2005 20:15:34]

Horrible, go to a grocery store, or ANYWHERE else
This place was horrible.
We went there Friday afternoon.
if was slow - about 4 tables there.
we ordered a chicken sandwich and a burger. both about $8, both small, the chicken breast was tiny!, and NO FLAVOR AT ALL! the worst I have ever had ANYWERE! Mc Donalds, anywhere would have been better and cheaper.
a pop was $2.25! I was so mad it ruined that whole afternoon. how the workers there can look you in the eye? adn the bathroom looked like it was not cleaned in about a year.

Charged $10 sarcasm fee then called 911 when we refused to pay it
The food was awful and the service even worse. My husband asked the waitress to please work on her customer service skills. Instead she put a $10 item charge for Sarcasm on our bill. They told us they would call 911 if we refused to pay it, which we did. A very nice local police officer responded and told them they were being ridiculous. He apologized on behalf of the community. The rest of our time in Keystone was wonderful, but stay away from this place at all costs.

They were also smoking in the kitchen. I'm sure the health inspector would have something to say about that.    [04 Jul 2006 21:19:00]
