CAMPERS' DELIGHT !!!
Met some friends at Linville Falls Campground in late June. Bob just would not stop talking about this place so we decided to drive over from Linville to celebrate our friend's wedding anniversary and check out Roan Mountain Campground. He kept telling us it was not a fancy place but had the best barbeque he had ever eaten with large portions. He was right and was it ever worth the ride. Worth the drive......
Someone told my family about this place and then drove us there. Being skeptical, I was somewhat worried that it was not going to be that great. But after seeing the plate and tasting the best BBQ ever, I was hooked. We have since drove the 2 hrs. to get nothing more than Ridgewood BBQ.
