My favorite Barbecue Place
Been eating here since I can remember. The
meat is the best because it is pulled from
the shoulder. The sandwich has a vinegar
based slaw which makes it the best in my
opinion. The hot sauce is terrific and is served on the table. The sandwich is not swimming in sauce and cole slaw like most
Memphis places serve up. I hate mayonnaise
on a barbecue. Don't waste your money on
anything like fries ( which are frozen ).

My favorite in the world
I lived most of my life in Tennessee
and ate at Bozo's any chance I had.
I now live in Florida, and Bozo's is
always my first stop when I come back to Tn. There's no comparison to their
pulled pork, vinegar slaw and potato

Best BBQ EVER! Period...
I was born in Memphis but grew up in Seattle. My grandparents live just a few miles away from Bozo's and nearly every time I came to visit we would go there to eat at least once a week. Myself, my parents, and my grandparents have all been comming here our whole lives and it is still by far the best any of us have ever had! I am a professional chef and have tried LOTS of other BBQ. While some comes close nothing is nearly as good. You don't have to get fancy, just order the pulled pork sandwich with side of slaw and a side of beans for a little slice of heaven! The sauce on the table is great, I usually go half & half with the regular and spicy. If you are ANYWHERE near Mason, TN please make the detour to Bozo's you won't be disapointed!


On a side note, if you see the movie "Walk The Line" I'm pretty sure the diner/ bbq joint with the HUGE sign out front is Bozo's as alot of the movie was shot in and around Memphis. I've got no conformation of this though, but the place looks EXACTLY like it.    [14 Dec 2005 03:05:02]

The BEST I have ever had
I live in Iowa now and I love BarBQ and you just don't find any better than Bozo's. Everytime I order a BarBQ somewhere else, I always say to my wife that this just doesn't compare to Bozo's. I used to work on a bread truck that delivered bread there and always had lunch there when at noon time. It is simply the best.    [06 Sep 2006 09:54:29]
