Never Open
I have tried for years to go to this restaurant on our anniversary and they are closed doing something every year. But they advertise like they are open.    [03 Jul 2003 23:51:09]

Not all it's cracked up to be!
Coming from the northeast - I know a little about seafood. New Orleans Manor was a little disappointing.

Our service was GREAT! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive! The frog legs left a little bit to be desired. Overall the food was good - a must try are thier scallops in a mushroom cream sauce. But over all for $37 a person I was a little dissapointed. They could have had real clams (or a least the cheaper version - Maine Mahogony). Also, I was a bit upset that we were charged for EVERY soda drank. I thought every restaurant had free refills!!! I will not be back!

After much anticipation, my husband & I went here to eat. The food lacked much to be desired! And for $85.00 you would think that there would be completely satisified. The fish was EXTREMELY overcooked and the shrimp was tasteless. I would not recommend this to anyone, especially for the price! Their only plus was the service. Our waiter was wonderful. Could eat here every other day!!!

We eat at the New Orleans Manor at least once a week and we love it!! My parents are from Virginia and come here to eat the seafood and say it is the best they have ever eaten.    [07 Apr 2004 15:36:39]
