Don't Bother If you can catch this restaurant when its even open (they keep very unpredictable hours), you'll be lucky if you can get a server to wait on you. I've visited this restaurant three times and the only thing that WAS consistent was the pathetic service. The owner of the restaurant will stand right in front of you chewing out employees while no one bothers to even say hello when you enter. If you do get to order food, be prepared to wait forever. My spaghetti took over 1 hour from the time I ordered it, and once it was delivered to the table no one checked back with us to see if everything was alright or refill our beverages. We finally had to get up and find someone to get the check, and then they didn't have enough change in the register to close out our check! (They didn't have ANY $1 bills...not even in the tip jar). The food tasted like it had been frozen for a very long time and they got my friends orders completely wrong...one person was a vegetarian and they gave her a meat dish! So frustrating. Loved it Maybe the other reviewer on this site had a bad day because we had the BEST food we had our trip in Alpine. Fresh food that was homemade - not frozen- service was great and we had no problem with their hours - they were open exactly when stated!! (maybe she didn't check ) We ate three times and the food was great and everyone was really friendly. Great pizza Fridays! Don't miss - read Texas monthly for real reviews... [20 Aug 2006 21:19:12]

Best Food In Alpine Sorry, Megan doesn't know what she's talking about - first review - and she went back 3 times? Hours are posted and are on website- food is all made on site- all sauces, dressings, soups, even bread! And pizza is the best we've had since our trip to Italy.. And they don't even serve typical spaghetti, only specials, try linguine or penne or homemade pasta.. really - don't miss this restaurant. We loved the salmon and the portobello mushroom ravioli and the wild mushroom cream sauce.. Service was FRIENDLY and quick!! And they've moved, so look for them at new location!
