Go hungry!!
I've never had a loser here, either in Alpine OR Ft Worth. The spring greens salad is wonderful. The comp bread, especially the onion bread and olive oil is terrific. The entrees are all lovely, especially the tenderloin and the quail dishes. And the apple dessert is the BEST. Also, the waitstaff is topnotch!    [03 Mar 2001 23:10:02]

Awesome Eating!!
My husband and I went for our Anniversary (his first time, my second since I'm from Alpine) and we enjoyed every last bit..He had a steak with sauteed mushrooms and I had the bbq shrimp enchiladas. We were so full but could not pass up the Apple dessert...ahhh it was so good. Everything was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant.    [16 Sep 2002 16:04:04]

Best in the West
They have an ecclectic menu of everything from lamb to jalapeno-cilantro soup, which I highly recommend. I miss the old building's view, but the new restaurant is just as comfortable yet elegant.    [02 Apr 2003 18:14:23]
