Great Chef! Have visited three times--the food and presentation are consistently impressive. For Amarillo this is a novelty: a true chef (not a teenage cook following a franchise recipe), and some variety.
Recently tried Chilean Sea Bass Cheeks made into tacos-very tasty. The appetizer was a shrimp ceviche with lime juice and spices served in a martini glass. Dessert was key lime pie which tasted homemade. [12 Jun 2001 10:28:01]

Dr. John
but the service! We went with out of town guests- the waitress acted like she would rather be anywhere else but where she was, service was slow, we finally got our salads, and just as we took our first bites, here come our meals! There were ground up bones in someone's BBQ, after complaining to the waitress she said "they won't hurt you". Not satisfied with her response, we went to the manager- he reluctantly offered a meal coupon to be used next time (like we'll be back), unwilling to comp at least one meal that night. Honestly, their jerk chicken is nothing you get get at the supermarket at $5 for the entire bird! Pass this place up! [03 Jul 2002 15:57:15]
