Great music and awesome ribs!
Hey what a find! Authentic bbq, incredible ribs, and awesome music.
I happened into this restaurant because a friend told me to check out this duo that was playing an acoustic show. Two beautiful and talents ladies, Shelley King and Floramay Holliday entertained while I chowed down on some of the best baby backs in Texas! Wow! Go on a Wednesday for the fabulous tunes. This is the best BBQ in ATX! I live right across the street and eat there at least once a week. I feel very un-Texan about this statement, but stick with pig here, y'all. Baby Backs and the Country Ribs are phenomenal. Good music, too.

Ask for extra sauce.

I agree the ribs were moist and tender and the plates were piled with food, but rest was not good. The sausage was the kind you could buy at an IGA in a big frozen box; the brisket was tough and dry; the sauce was not robust nor flavorful, but helped the moisten the brisket. The sides were boring; coleslaw could have been on a sandwich, but definetly couldn't have stood on it's own. And the sad thing is I've lived in Calif for the last 7 years. but lived most of my life in Dallas and I still remember great barbeque!    [16 Mar 2006 22:30:27]
