Excellence in Balmorhea
This is a B&B. Wonderful food, we had breakfast and dinner. Exceptionally nice folks who obviously love to prepare fantastic food. Menu is chosen and changed periodically. Hosts are servers and chefs. Located close to San Solomon Springs(Balmorhea State Park) just off of I-10. You won't be dissapointed.    [26 Feb 2004 01:01:39]

Great facility and experience
This review is supposed to be just for food but I am going to go ahead and write about the whole experience.

We stayed there over the long weekend in 2007 when we visited Ft. Davis area and McDonald Observatory. The rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy. Breakfast was really filling and tasty. We being vegetarian, they took special care for us. I even played with their dogs a little bit. It's owned by the gentleman and his wife who are very caring and kind folks. They were always smiling and affable. They also provided good information about the sight-seeing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Ft.
