Horrible All Around
Was made to feel unwelcome, just another customer... Sat down and the table was sticky on top and bottom. The booth had food on the floor and on the seat. Very unsanitary! The young waitress was most pleasant though. When she set off to get our drinks, that is when my husband and I looked at each other and said "let's get out of here"    [08 Feb 2005 19:43:39]

Will Never Go Back
This is the third time that we have gone at lunch for the buffet.

This time it was 11:30am, and what we wanted was not on the buffet and had to wait at least 30 minutes for it. They have things on the buffet that no one eats. The pans are full and you can tell that they are "not favorites". They advertise a buffet and if the items are not on there at 11:30am.

What is worse, we complained to management and the waitresses and they couldn't have cared less.

The funny thing is that there were 4 of us and I am the one who always wants to go to China Chef. Well guess what, they have lost 4 eaters.

Bastrop is growing and there are a lot of new restaurants popping up. Put out or get out. Not good business.

I read the reviews above and yes the restaurant can use some cleaning. Needless to say, that I go for two things on the buffet and the last 3 times they were not there. We only get an hour of lunch and can not wait 30 minutes.    [22 Feb 2006 16:59:04]

Great
I have tried many different Chinese restaurants and they by far have the best General Tso's chicken. It is awesome and the garlic shrimp with cabbage is so good. The egg rolls were a little heavy like with too much oil but overall the food was good. The service was great and they have some of the best tea.    [07 Oct 2006 20:00:35]

Eating in About 10 Min...
