Don't waste your money.
Frank's Lakeview is a shadow of its once self. The last time I had been to Frank's was in the early to mid 90's. It was excellent, beautiful view, and nice setting. What happened? The location is prime--beautiful view overlooking Belton Lake. However, Frank's looks like it has not been cleaned or kept up for the past ten years. The food was horrible. A better steak could be found at Denny's or IHOP. Seaford was frozen, pre-cooked breaded disappointment. Salad bar looked like a case of food poison. This is all very sad comparing to what Frank's use to be and especially considering the beautiful location overlooking the lake. On top of it all the service would have been better at the Waffle House. Don't waste your money on Frank's. This is the type of place a true wise businessman like Tilman Fertitta (owner of Kemah Boardwalk, etc) could buy and turn into a fantastic place. Someone put Frank's out of its misery and resurrect it to save the beautiful view of the lake.    [21 Jul 2005 22:43:09]

Stay away
Frank's Lakeview is due for renovation, so until it is cleaned up, refurbished, and a new cook is hired, stay away. Poor service is only exceeded by the inedible food.    [14 Aug 2006 17:30:10]
