Mmmm Mmmm Good!!
Now I know it's a sin in Texas but I'm not big on BBQ... I think its something about diggin' stuff outta that space between my front teeth. But that aside I gotta say Phil's has got some great tasting stuff and I don't mind having to use floss afterward! I especially love the sausage and the brisket is pretty durn tasty too.
As for ambience, it's a homey little place. You can tell Phil is a well liked guy about town. He knows every other customer by name and I figure the ones he doesn't must be the out-a-towners. He makes those feel welcome too. And the portions... well, lets say no one is gonna go hungry and no one is gonna lose weight if they eat here regularly either... at least I know I wouldn't.    [23 May 2002 00:59:53]
