Rose Is the Best in TX
I have been eating Rose Girard's (AKA The Cake Lady) cakes since I was a kid. I recently moved back to the Friendswood area after being away for more than 8 years and discovered her bakery. A True Delight
The company I work for in Dickinson tries to get "Cake Lady" cakes for all occasions. It was such a treat when my co-workers special ordered a cake for me. Best Cake I've Had

Awesome
The Cake Lady has the best cakes and goodies I have ever eaten. I am not a cake eater typically but hers are heaven. They made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for me and I use them for every occasion. The little gift store that is there is also great for last minute gifts. Family Reunion
Rose and the Cake Lady Staff helped make our family reunion delicious. I have been ordering from the Cake Lady for the last 15 years and have never been disappointed, but the white almond cake with bavarian filling and cream cheese frosting was the best I've ever had. Many people commented on how wonderful the cake was and there wasn't a bite left of the full sheet. Thank you for your dedication to perfection. Looking forward to our next cake.

Lost my business.
The Cake Lady does have amazing cakes, if they are ordered fresh! The day before Thanksgiving I ran in to pick up some last minute goodies. The Italian Cream Cake looked great, Cupcakes for the kids and I snagged one if the very last pumkin pies that were left. We gave the pie as a gift, and the cake was DRY, VERY DRY! The worst cake I have ever had. So I figured that it was just left out longer than it should have by mistake, but the kids only licked off the icing because the cupcakes were hard as rocks.
