Description
The 1st Diary Queen of Jacksonville. Being across from the historic Tomato Bowl Stadium has made it a very popular hang out during football season. Offering a little more variety than the Dairy Queen on Tena & Jackson.

Rude and Tacky Staff and Horrible Food After twelve long minutes, our food was finally brought out. Upon getting our food the fries were cold, two burgers were made wrong, and the chicken strips were hard and cold. After several minutes of disgusting glares, whispers and snickering from the kitchen staff our food was brought back to us. No apology, no thank you, no nothing. My friend had ordered her burger with "NO" mayo or mustard. The first time she recieved it it had mustard, after being sent back they had apparently just wiped the mustard from the bun and throwed a handful of lettuce back on top. The fries were warm but were now soggy, apparently recooked. The chicken strips were just horrible all together. The lettuce on my salad was brown and wilted, the tomatoes tasted awful, and the chicken was cold. We are from out of town but are in Jacksonville frequently since we work for a large financial instituition based here. After returning we told several of the local employees about our experience, and was told about another Dairy Queen on the other side of town, which is where we will eat from now on if we ever decide to eat at another Dairy Queen.
