Joes Jefferson Street Cafe Joes Jefferson Street Cafe has great atmosphere and the service is good. I have tried several different dishes. Most are always extremely well prepared and flavorful. I did have fried oysters one time that were not quite up to par. The Chicken Fried Steak is great. The meat loaf is very good. All vegetables are tasty. On certain occassions they will fly in lobster. They do a fantastic job of preparing this. Joes is almost always a pleasant experience. [16 Apr 2002 01:05:00]

Good little restaurant with fine food and service Loved this place. Good homestyle cooking with decent portions, a reasonably priced wine list and great desserts. The fish was very good and cooked to perfection. The waitresses are funny, friendly and efficient. A good all around experience. [18 Dec 2003 10:19:58]

Joe's Jefferson Street Cafe First visit to Kerrville and I asked the hotel front desk to suggest a local favorite. This should be a regional/state favorite. The cafe is in a beautiful, older, two-story house. I had the bronzed chicken that was wonderful in flavor. Everyone enjoyed their food. The menu includes daily board specials and a myriad of desserts to choose from. I will definitely go back to try the desserts some time! [16 Mar 2004 14:53:14]

Good restaurant great service My family and I went to eat at Joe's for my grandfather in-law's birthday. Not only were they able to accomodate 5 adults and 4 children, they were able to do so comfortably (with a reservation). The food was great, the service was excellent, and the price was reasonable. They even threw in a free dessert for the birthday boy. I highly recommend it [25 Sep 2006 15:45:12]
