GREAT place for steaks and Bluegrass band!! Love driving down from Amarillo for a real treat of delicious ribeyes or chicken fried steaks!! I REALLY love the bluegrass band...when you can catch them there. [22 Jul 2003 23:25:59]

ordinary and typical If you like steak and potatoes, this is the place for you. If you like variety (or vegetables other than white potatoes), you'll be disappointed. While good, it's boring and leaves much to be desired. One must wonder if folks in this part of the country eat anything else besides cow when dining out. [27 Jun 2005 18:18:22]

It's back to being great!! For those of you who knew what it was like when it first opened you will again be happy. The Mexican food is gone!!! The original crew is back and the food is once again edible. They now have appetizers and steamed vegetables. Go in and meet the new owners. They learned what they know from the original owner and they know what they are doing. They still have live music on the weekends. [07 Feb 2007 17:24:53]

A place right out of legend! You got to try this place! The ambiance is amazing, complete with mounted deer, elk and a wild boar. There is even an old chuck wagon in the dinning room. Fantastic service and the food is amazing. The best steak I have ever eaten! [28 Mar 2007 09:31:40]

steakhouse?---we go for the fish If you like fish, this is the place to go, they serve a nice salad to begin and then fish and a veggie for dessert you are given either peach or plum cobbler. Just enough to end a delicious meal. For such a small town a wonderful place to go for dinner, and we have to drive 40 miles to get there [19 Jun 2007 18:15:34]
