Description

An often crowded Tex-Mex restaurant with a full bar that is popular with families with kids. There is a small banquet room and a small patio.

It's okay
There's usually a long wait to get in here most evenings.

The meal starts with chips and warm salsa and warm black bean dip. The salsa is heavy on black pepper, and the black bean dip is bland - there's no seasoning to speak of.

The Tex-Mex entrees are nicely prepared but not very exciting to me. Service is good, as are the margaritas, and the restaurant is well decorated.

However, the food is only average to me. Don't get me wrong - it's not a bad restaurant, and it has a lot going for it (especially its location) - it's just not my first choice for Mexican food.    [17 Aug 2007 15:28:50]
