Love The Barn Door
Everytime we travel through or to Odessa, we go to The Barn Door to eat. The food is wonderful especially the chicken fried steak. We haven't found any better in all of Texas.    [01 Aug 2003 14:24:49]

We tried the chicken fried steak and never again will we go back. 45 min to get meal. The server "lost" the order. The manager would not come to our table after we requested him to. He sent the seating hostess. Never got an apology.    [28 Dec 2004 14:37:55]

The Best Ever
Best waiters. Delicious food . No attitudes.Everyone is so polite.Very clean.Fancy atmosphere.Wonderful.Hardworking chefs.Mr.Hinojos {head chef} has the employees work to their full potential.We've noticed since he's been there things have turned around these past couple of years ,in a positive way.We go there all the time.We pretty much know everyone especially big boss Roy.I give the Barn Door 5 stars. Good Food & Great Service
First time to visit this restaurant. KC strip was good, not great, a little tough considering the price. The cracked peppercorns and sauteed mushrooms were a nice touch but it would have been nice if the waiter had mentioned that there would an extra charge. Block of cheese was excellent and the additional carafe of beverage (mine was diet Coke) was also refreshing.    [03 May 2007 20:41:04]
