Generous servings of Coffee from simple black to deliciously flavored (and topped) lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, and frozen drinks. Real whipped cream made fresh daily. Plus "no-coffee" alternatives such as "steamers," italian cream sodas and teas. Sweet treats and sandwiches also available.

waaay better than starbucks!
OMG! I love Shoemaker & Hardt - - especially their Plano store. They have awesome coffee drinks, but I love their freezes, too. My favorite part is that it feels like home when I go there. They have big ol' comfy chairs and just a wonderful cozy feeling. The staff is great, too! I go so often now that they know my drink and often have it ready by the time I get to the counter. Oh, I almost forgot to mention - - they have FREE wireless internet, too! In fact, I pass three Starbucks that I know of every time I go there, for this feature alone! [07 Mar 2007 11:42:34]

IMHO, Shoemaker & Hardt is way better than Starbucks. Aside from awesome coffee drinks & freezes, they also have FREE wireless Internet, board games, books, good snacks and the ambiance is hard to beat. It's dimly lit, quiet and cozy - - a great place to study. Their staff is very friendly and it never feels snooty. We have employee meetings there pretty regularly and it's perfect for getting away from the distractions of the office and in a more creative and relaxed frame of mind! [07 Mar 2007 12:01:49]
