breakfast patos
The first time I had a breakfast pato, was 15 years ago. I still can't forget the smell similar to my mom's kitchen. The egg and potatoes breakfast Pato with beans and the special salsa has always been my favorite. After 12 years in the Marines and traveled around the world, I always tell about El Pato to my brothers in arms. Every time I come home to San Juan TX, I have to enjoy El Pato. Miss El Pato tacos
Man I sure miss those tacos, (3 beef tacos with meat only )and the hot sause.I live in Dallas and the last time I went to the Valley was 3 yrs ago, and of course I stop and ate my tacos...They were great. Thx    [28 Dec 2006 14:12:00]

Love and miss those Tacos
I am originally from the Valley born in McAllen and lived in Pharr for over 20 years. I ate a lot of El Patos Tacos and really miss them. I live in the Dallas area and when I get back to the Valley I make sure to hit El Patos. I love the Bean and Potatos tacos as well as the Beef, Lettuce and Tomato tacos. I just had some this last weekend while there for Christmas mmmm:-)Owners have changed since I lived in the Valley and people say it is not the same. It may not be quite as good when the tortillas were made right in front of you as you ordered, but they are damn close. They do not know what Tacos are up here in Dallas.
