This place is downright Texan. It is open air with good Country music on the jukebox and the best Bar-B-Que you'll ever eat. It comes family style with spare ribs, sausage, brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, beans, sauce, bread, pickles and onions. If you want more of anything, they get it for you. A Shining Texas Experience... Good Food Too.
I have been to Cyclone Corral a handful of times over the last few years, and every time I leave, I begin thinking about when I'll be able to make it back. In short, this place has GREAT food (especially the ribs) in all-you-can-eat quantities, and all with a great ambience that can't be beat. summetime Eatery at its Best.
I first went to the Cyclone in the summer of 2002. I was simply pleased at the whold experience. The food was great, the service friendly and efficient. I have lived in Central Texas for 33 years and didn't know the place existed. But I do now!    [10 Feb 2005 18:04:10]

What happened to the potato salad?
My friend and I had dinner at the Corral for the first time this year on 4/7/06. The people were friendly and the brisket was slightly better than average, except I noticed the potato salad wasn't the same as it's been in years past. My friend and I would drive many miles just for the potato salad. The potato salad we were served this time tasted very much like HEB's. The atmosphere was still the same, which is always nice. Wonderful!
After reading the reviews here, we decided to give Cyclone a try. We are so glad we did! We're already planning some get-togethers out there.

We did need to call for directions.
From Hwy 190, take Hwy 53 East (East Adams)

Go about 12 miles, and at the blinking light, turn right on 485.

Go about 1 mile and turn right on FM 964.

Cyclone is about a mile up on the right.

The Best BBQ in Texas
Hard to find, but worth every minute and mile of the drive to get there!! The best food, fair price, pure Texas atmosphere. Been going there for years, everytime we visit my family, if Cyclone is open, it's understood we will be going there for dinner.    [22 Jun 2006 15:05:32]

I went to Cyclone Corral Bar-B-Q. Wow, wonderful wonderful. People were nice, food was great and atmosphere was enjoyable. You can not miss. Open Friday and Saturday 5:30p kitchen closes at 9:30 but they usually are there until sometime after ten.    [03 Jul 2006 16:39:24]
