What A Deal!
No fancy ambience, mostly takeout business - although they have tables for their dine-in customers. But you get a very large burrito for close to $3. Maybe not the Tex-Mex cuisine you're expecting, but the beef-and-potato burrito is like Mom's roast beef, potatos and gravy Sunday dinner rolled up in a tortilla. My favorite is the beef-and-bean-with-cheese - the same tender hunks of roast beef, with "gravy", beans and cheese, all I can eat for $2.98.

They have other variations, combinations and permutations, including chicken, breakfast burritos with bacon, sausage, eggs, etc, all in fresh-fried tortillas. And of course nachos.

Expect to be impressed by the quality, quantity and price of the food, not by the atmosphere. For takeout breakfast or lunch, I've found nothing better in this city!    [02 Dec 2003 17:31:49]
