Run-of-the-mill sandwich francise
Summary: If you want decent, inoffensive food in your tummy (and fast), you can't go wrong. Even picky eaters can find something to their liking here.

I've sampled Subway locations in most every state in the Western U.S.A. during my travels. Their quality is pretty consistent, and this location in Lehi is no exception.

Like other Subway franchises that I've eaten at, six- and twelve-inch sandwiches are offered with a wide variety of choices. Each is made to your specification. This is where the franchise shines. You can pick and choose almost every detail of what you want on your sandwich.

Quality of food is mediocre. I've had plenty of better sandwiches at other restaurants, but these beat the hamburger joints if you're watching your health at all.

Service is nominal, of the fast-food variety. People are generally pleasant and attentive to your choices. Because each sandwich is hand-made to order, the lines move slower than the hamburger joints. This can make for 15-minute waits during peak hours.

Ambiance again is of the fast-food genre. Everything is clean but minimalistic and informal.

Overall there's nothing to complain about, but there is nothing to write home about either.    [17 Dec 2006 03:01:33]
