Excellent Everything was excellent: the food, service and ambiance. I especially enjoyed the couples seating in the circular room with the flame -- very romantic. [04 Nov 2003 14:23:09]

Wonderful Dining Beautiful views. Perfect location for after dinner romantic strolls along the river. Many excellent dishes. We have always been treated nicely by the entire staff. We especially like the server Zack and ask for him by name whenever we dine there. On the few occasions when we have asked for special seating, we were accomodated. [12 Nov 2003 13:30:01]

Victim of its own success The food is great, the service is lousy. I have loved this restaurant for years but three trips in a row have been very unpleasant as a result of the service and the seating. The latest was sitting six of us at a four top. Hello - there is a reason they call it a four top. When you make seven o-clock dinner reservations for six on a Thursday night one would expect to be promptly and courteously seated at a table for six. Instead we were made to wait and then finally corraled to a four-top they were setting end place setting on! These are not spacious tables for four and are not meant for six! When we asked about the six top next to us they told us they were saving that for an eight person party!
So, we enjoyed out tasty entrees while reaching over one another and knocking things left and right. The waiter could not even put the bread basket and bottle of wine on the table it was so cramped.
WHen paying $30 a person for dinner you should not be treated like cattle and should be seated in a comfortable location [03 Feb 2006 13:45:13]

Very enjoyable The food was great and the view was wonderful. We got excellent service when we went at 6:00 on a Thursday. We sat in the round room and watched the boats come and go. My wife and I both had seafood and for dessert we shared a godiva chocolate lava cake [24 Aug 2006 23:00:34]
