Generous George's Positive Pizza & Pasta Place - Washington Post, Phyllis C. Richman; A riot of flamingo pink and grasshopper green, this kitschy fun house pays tribute to excellent pizza by serving them up huge. There's big pasta, too - suggest change

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PIZZA!!!!! Never have we found a better restaurant for Pizza in our lives! Generous Georges is the absolute best. You MUST try this place and you will know that every other pizza place suffers in comparison! We travel more than an hour's drive to get to Generous George's and it is every bit worth the commute. They have pastas served on pizza dough! Wonderful place for kids! Couldn't recommend more! [28 Mar 2003 07:52:25]

Family Ambiance, delicious food This place takes care of large parties so well, they take reservations only for groups of 20 or more. Anything smaller they consider routine.
The soft drink mugs are humongous, the food hearty and delicious. [29 Apr 2003 17:44:37]

A great destination for all who love pizza My father-in-law treated me to Generous George’s the first time about 7 years ago. I couldn't believe how large the toppings were on the pizza. When every other pizza place tries to "cheap out" and give you less, they gave way more than I expected. My wife and I loved it so much that the next time I was in Alexandria on business, I asked them to freeze one for me. They did, and I was able to fly home and surprise my wife with a delicious G.G.'s pizza. [08 Jul 2003 13:40:10]

If you like undercooked food, eat here! We went here to celebrate a family birthday. Two of us had calzones, had to send one of the calzones back TWICE and it was still undercooked and inedible. This place has gone way downhill. Hey, at least we weren't charged for it. Stay away! [12 Jul 2007 15:41:19]
