Great Food, Not Great Service
Cafe Asia seems to have fallen victim to its own success. We visited what was one of our favorite Rosslyn eateries for a late lunch last week and even with only five of the 20 or more tables occupied, it took almost ten minutes for a grouchy waitress to visit us and another five minutes for water to arrive.

Once our orders were taken the lunch came out in a reasonable period of time. Unfortunatley, our beverage glasses were empty for more than five minutes, we were glared at when we asked for a re-fill and eventually had to ask another server to find our waitress to bring the bill.

While the food was excellent, the attitude of the waitress and poor service really took away from the afternoon.    [20 May 2005 20:36:16]

Spectacular!
Cafe Asia has most of my money, plain and simple! The food is absolutely outstanding! The Spicy Tekka Don is a must. Just don't try to go on a weekend night - it's an insane club scene just trying to get in.    [03 Mar 2007 20:49:59]

I order from Cafe Asia at least 6 times a month and still they never reognize me or thank me for my business. Talk about grouchy and bad service. I am talking about the last 2 years! When I call to order they just put me on hold and let me wait until they can take other calls. I think they don't realize that the customer is important they need to focus on who has credit cards on file and jump for joy, or someone else will take their business....    [06 Oct 2007 18:35:07]

Wait Staff Has Attitude
On every occasion I have visited Cafe Asia, the hostesses are surly and indifferent. The service is slow and borders on hostile. The atmosphere is great and occasionaly I encounter a pleasant waiter, but it is quite rare.    [02 Dec 2007 15:29:45]
