I love Carribean Grill I grew up in Arlington, but I live in Boston now. The one thing that my sister (in Florida) and I agree that we MUST do when we get back to DC is GO TO THE CARRIBEAN GRILL! I often complain that if Boston had one, the city would be complete. [08 May 2003 11:09:45]

Great Food The Pulled Spiced Pork with yellow rice is simply awesome. The chicken -- which is roasted over a open fire in the restaurant -- is very tasteful, as well. Oh and the chicken and beef empanadas are good, too. [21 Jan 2004 17:30:49]

SO GOOD I go there about once a week. I'm a vegetarian so the options are a little more limited, but they have great spinach burritos, vegetable empanandas (sometimes) and great side dishes. I always get the beans and white rice with the yellow sauce. The spinach, new potatoes and fried yuca are also very excellent. The service can be a bit slow, especially during the lunch rush. And please note that they only take cash. [17 Nov 2004 12:22:00]

Best place to eat in Falls Church I just moved to the area about three weeks ago. I have eaten at some really nice and expensive places and this place is by far the best place to eat. The food is more than reasonably priced. The Jerk chicken is so good the taste goes all the way down to the bone. It is a must try when you are in the area. [21 Jan 2005 18:25:11]

************************* I wish Carribean Grill would come to California!!!! I've been desperate to taste those delicious empanadas, yuca and white sauce for ONE year since we've moved out there to Camp Pendleton. Nobody rocks Cuban/Carribean food like Carribean Grill!!! [20 May 2005 03:57:00]

What a food! Food here is delicious. I like congri with masas de puerco fritas (fried pork meat) as well as fried plantains. And the flan they make is really good. Ummm, I am getting hungry... [31 May 2005 10:22:04]

Some of the Best Cuban Food in the Region Besides their rotisserie chicken (which you can smell a half mile away, and does most of their marketing), all of their Cuban entrees and side dishes are wonderful. They may not match the very best that Miami or Union City have to offer, but it's much better and definitely more authentic than most of what goes for "Cuban" in this area and beyond (while the cooks are Salvadoran, the recipes and I believe the owner, are Cuban). The cuban sandwich, however, is as good as any I've ever had, anywhere.
The decor is nice and the restaurant is clean, but the space and seating is limited/cramped, which makes this better suited for either takeout or lunch. The line can get long for lunch, but it moves along quickly. [12 Oct 2006 16:06:40]
