If you have been looking for a friendly restaurant that is known for serving fine Prime Rib or Ribs this is the place. It is hidden off the main st of Ashland..2 blocks south of the Rt54 crossing with Route One. But once you find it you will be in HOG Heaven. The restaurant features about every pig curio that has EVER been made. Pig shirts, earrings, hats, jewelry and statues greet you at the front door and in the waiting room which is INSIDE the restaurant. Yes, they have a covered waiting room which holds about 50 people
because on weekends or if the college has a football or function going on there will be people there waiting to eat! Most waits are less than one hour; and the food is worth it!! They are closed on Mondays    []

Great Place
My wife and I started going to the Smokey pig 9 years ago when we were checking out places to cater our wedding. Well, the Smokey Pig did cater our wedding, and we have been back many times. Although a very popular place, they treat you like family, we were there one evening, 5 years after our wedding, and our waiter happened to be one of the waiters who catered our wedding, much to our surprise, he remembered us.
