Ok food.. BAD service
We recently went to Thai Basil with high expectations, but were very much disappointed. The server was very bad... almost shouted as us.. no smiles... very unkind.
The food was ok.. not the best Thai food we have had. Dungrats, Busara and even Tara Thai food is better in my opinion.    [19 Mar 2005 21:19:56]

Favorite Thai Place in the area for our family!
I don't know why anyone would have bad service, or even rude service at Thai Basil. We've been going there for over a year and always had wonderful,friendly service. The food is always flavorful and fresh. It's not the fanciest of places, the muzak is a little annoying. They also have low calorie, low fat options on their menu and can adjust the spice upon request. Thai Basil is one of Chantilly's best kept secrets! The chef also offers Thai cooking classes which are priced quite reasonably. One of these days I want to give them a try!    [18 Feb 2006 13:42:54]
