Tortilla Soup = Liquid silk
Love Rosemary's -- the best thing is their daily soup which is a tomato-based tortilla soup. It's truly liquid silk, I could eat it every day. The rollas are great as are the kebab entrees.    [29 May 2003 11:37:16]

Great food, service without an attitude
We chanced on this terrific spot on a recent trip to DC. What a find. great food...tough to make up one's mind with so many great choices. Had lamb shish, an old standby and it was cooked to perfection. Went back for Sunday brunch and found the place just as welcoming. Service is friendly, efficient, adaptive. Great Pide'
What a great dinner at Rosemary's thyme, a great soup already mentioned above, with a good ceasar salad, and a Cheese Pide ( sort of a rolled up pizza) All that for less that $17.00. Dreadful Day at Rosemary's, Clifton
19 Feb. Always had to talk my wife into going to Rosemary's - she says it is overated -
Got her there today - Tea not hot, no bread on table, excuse given that it was baking, asked for whatever, got stale bread - fresh baked bread never arrived - no plate of olive oil - had to ask for that too -
Also, waiter's mind on far away things - other waiter at table next to ours doing splendid job - they got bread, they got dish with olive oil mix
Besides since they have stopped providing bottles of olive oil, why bother ?
