Great Food Poor service
The food at the Crab House is absolutely wonderful. The runners are wonderful to, but the servers are horrible. They don't come back to check on you and leave it up to the rummers to get you stuff. I have eaten there many times and have had the same experience.    [28 Jun 2003 13:52:10]

Questionable food
Food ordered off the menu was fine, but some of the food on the "Signature Seafood Salad Bar" was "off." The Steamed Blue Crab presented itself with slimy, gelatinous claw meat. It took effort to get new plates for return visits to this "all you can eat" seafood bar, and we didn't receive our proper change when we paid. Restaurant was freezing cold (we kept our coats on.) The bar was amiable, but the restaurant itself was not as hospitable.    [11 Nov 2004 13:45:13]

Great Hot Crabs
I have eaten at the crab house for 25 years and think they do a great job.
I love the "Hot Crabs" and think you
will too. I've never had a bad experience there. They have worked hard to keep locals and "visitors"
hooked up with the best chesapeake seafood in the area. Keep it up boys!!

p.s. as for the ambiance and such, they could go back to the old "shack"
with the one legged sink and I wouldn't
