Excellent restaurant! Dishes are consistently good every visit. Try exceptional dishes like Spicy Beef Casseroll, Mama Chen To Fu, and Ong Choi w/ Garlic. [04 May 2003 21:04:22]

Great food at great price Can't go wrong with Spicy Beef Casseroll, Mama Chen To Fu, and Ong Choi w/ Garlic. Also recommend special pork dish (don't know the name, but just ask for special pork dish), kingdom pork, crispy eggplant, and salty squid. Don't forget the dumplings! You can see Mr. Lee, the chef, making and cooking the dumplings on weekends, and they are so gooood... This restaurant has been my favorite restaurant for the past few years. [22 Dec 2004 17:36:59]

Our Favorite Place for 15 years! The Peking Village is wonderful.
My family found it in 1990 and have been going back often ever since. We've had Christmas, New Year's, Chinese New Year's, and birthday dinners there, and I take my woman's group.
The food is always excellent, and we like the staff. Sometimes a new server who doesn't know much English is on duty, but ask for a more experienced person.
We enjoy trying a Chinese dish that they recommend (NOT typical American) in addition to several other dishes. 5 stars! (And we've BEEN to 5 stars in China. [23 Dec 2005 18:07:03]

Best one around Merrifield, Falls Church, Annandale area The Szichuan style dishes like "Shui Zhu Beef", "Hui Guo Rou", "Fu Qi Fei Pian" are my favorite. You also have choice of Peking, Hunan styled chinese foods. The service is great and the price is much cheaper than Thai, Indian and Japanese ones. [22 Mar 2006 10:49:55]

Best Crispy Beef Ever! Since I've moved away from the area, I haven't found another restaurant that made crispy beef like they do!
They also specialize in authentic Chinese food, but also offer typical American Style Chinese food. [26 Apr 2006 23:14:01]

You'd Have To Know What Chinese Food Is ... to enjoy a restaurant like this. I usually do not find issue with other reviewers, but the person who wrote, "horrible service and upset stomachs - skip it", is an idiot. This place with rare exception in the Washington, DC area is about as authetic as it gets. I would wager the reviewer above was probably an arrogant customer and came off sounding like an ass. I have been to this restaurant several times and never once had issue with the food, service or bill. If one were to have issue at all with Peking Village it would be entirely based on the decor. But this restaurant isn't about interior design, it is about the food. There are two menus at this restaurant. Choose the Chinese menu (in English) and don't turn. Regular American fare can be tasty, but why go here for that? [21 Sep 2007 10:00:49]
