Chords was a smash hit
I was surprised to find Chords in the place of Spankys on my trip through downtown Fredericksburg. When I walked in the place has been transformed to a new jazz and blues themed classy joint. I first sat in the cocktail lounge and had drinks listening to the band play and drinking martinis. We were escorted to our table and I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. It had this very buttery consistency and mixed well with the Edna Valley Chardnney I ordered with it. The portions were perfect, not too much and not too little. The service was great and the staff was clearing plates even if our waiter was busy. I did not feel rushed. They allowed us to linger after dinner and continue talking and listen to the band. Everything was perfect. I have yet to find a restaurant in Fredericksburg with anything simular to what Chords is doing and we definitely plan on going back to ttry out some of the other great dishes. I heard fro the waiter that a new menu is coming out Feb 17th so I plan on checking that out.
