Description

Spelunker's specializes in burgers and ice cream. Their cavern burgers are a local favorite and their shakes are well known. Their meats are ground and sliced on location and are never frozen. Their ice cream is always fresh. In addition to serving burgers and ice cream, they also serve steak and cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and various other items.

Spelunker's features both a drive-thru and a dining room. It is very similar to a fast-food restaurant, though your food is brought to your table when it is ready. The restaurant is rarely packed.

A typical lunch runs about $5-$7

Spelunker's has the best burgers in the area. I don't know of a better joint... the burgers are juicy and fall apart in you mouth. The fries are great too, but they are simply Boardwalk Fries. The shakes are delicious and thick.

Service is friendly and the price is right. I would highly reccomend driving past the Burger King and McDonald's down the road and making a stop at Spelunker's to anyone.    [22 Apr 2006 10:27:37]

Great Burgers!
This is the best burger for under $5 that I've ever had. Save room for the frozen custard. The fries are not up to par with the burgers and ice cream.    [25 Jun 2006 12:44:53]
