I love this place! The food here is fabulous. If I could compare Thai food to other ethnic foods (which I can't, but I'll attempt it), I would say that it's part Chinese, part Indian, and unique all on its own. One of the things I love about this place is that everything tastes fresh and I don't get a horrible feeling in my stomach when I'm done.
Their Pineapple Fried Rice is amazing. I get mine on Medium heat (start with Mild and get a spice tray to go up from there). Their Pad Thai is pretty good too. I haven't had a dish there that I haven't liked.
The service there is very good, though depending on how busy they are and the time of day, sometimes they're slightly behind. The staff there are knowledgable about the food and the owners (and primary chefs) are from Thailand.
For the ambiance, it is a soothing purple (which is unique and creative) inside with Thai music playing and decorated with a Thailand flair.
The best deal is their lunch menu. You get an entree, a spring roll, a cup of soup, and a cup of dessert all for $6-7.
Since going there, Thai food has become my favorite type of food (and I would think by having a German-Italian background, that's pretty rare). Very good - highly recommended.
I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. [28 Apr 2006 18:22:37]
