Description

Evo is the place to taste and experience wine and enjoy fabulous food in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer a wine tasting bar paired with French, Italian, Spanish and Moroccan style tapas as well as a retail wine shop all wrapped in one!
Wines from around the world are featured. They are carefully chosen and rated by the owners, staff members and customers with an emphasis on values consistent with the quality of the wines. Our five star rating goes to wine of high quality that we can offer to our restaurant patrons for $50 or preferably less.

Evo stretches the traditional wine bar and retail store boundaries by offering guests an exciting new concept for tasting and buying wines and food. For the first time, guests can serve themselves by purchasing an Evo tasting card (like a debit card), inserting it into the automated wine tasting stations, selecting a wine and receiving a 1 oz.,
3 oz., or 5 oz. pour. Individually priced pours of more than 50 wines sourced from wineries around the globe makes for a truly wonderful experience.

This "try-before-you-buy" model promotes education, socialization, and curiosity.

Now Evo offers our guests the opportunity to taste and experience small amounts of wine before deciding on the right glass... The guests are the judges and are able to choose the wine that's right for them.

Yum!
Great new place in McLean. Fun place to socialize and meet new people. The wine selection is amazing and they have cool wine tasting machines. I have been there twice and they already had new wines for me to try. The tapas were excellent as well. Very tasty. A little loud, but awesome atmosphere.    [09 Oct 2007 12:43:18]

We visited last night. The place was over crowded and noisy with loud music. Service as non existent. We finally ordered with from the Host and an hour later, our waitress asked if we were interested in food! Would not recommend on any level.    [01 Dec 2007 12:50:39]

Was there friday night. The food was really excellent. I did try two specials: stuffed poblano with shrimp and wild mushrooms was terrific and the mahi-mahi with braised endives, chorizo and balsmic reduction was outstanding. I really enjoyed everything.    [02 Feb 2008 11:53:35]
