Great Food, Service and Atmosphere Lunch was wonderful today at The Red Maple Inn. My friends and I had a variety of the luncheon choices - crab cake, tenderloin steak, crab bisque - and all enjoyed their meal very much. The prices are good, food excellent and the atmosphere cozy and clean. What a lovely place for lunch or dinner. I want to try the Sunday Brunch next! [23 May 2003 14:46:43]

A Trip Back in Time - a Good Thing Had dinner tonight - crab cakes - what a meal and service. I live at the beach, with great places to eat, none better than this place. [14 Apr 2005 22:40:40]

Charming Old Time Atmosphere, Great Food for Reasonable Prices This is a fun place to be in and eat at. The decor is really charming, with a late Victorian to Edwardian in America look. There are antiques around, and most of the atmosphere stuff is real. Food is really great, the crab cakes divine, and there is creative composition and handling of side dishes. The waiter was the kind of guy you used to see at fine classy hotels; he really cared about service. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and the substantial portions. There's a garden of herbs and flowers all around (one of the owners was a botany/horticulture professor at CNU). They use herbs from their own gardens. [11 Nov 2007 17:13:00]
