RIP OFF! Wife purchased two sandwiches and two pastries; guy charged $48! He also threw in two bags of chips not ordered at $4 a bag. Sandwiches were mediocre at best: roast beef WAY too salty and pastrami was ok, nothing special. If you insist on eating there, ask for a menu so this 'jerk' doesn't get the opportunity to make prices up as he goes along. Seems he has quite the reputation in Colonial Place neighborhood as a con. Too bad my wife learned that after the fact [08 Jun 2007 09:06:21]

Not a Rip Off.... I have eaten here many times. I guess some people expect too much and don't ask questions... ^ (Rip Off anonymous dude...)
A large pastrami sandwich is about 18 dollars, but will more than feed two people. The large sandwich is actually supposed to feed two people. Dee Dee Dee... This is a deli where almost everything is homemade. You are paying for quality... not subway/quiznos garbage sandwiches. This is a family business, even the grandmother, who looks like she is in her early 70s is in there. Good place. I go everytime I am in the area. [26 Jul 2007 10:23:41]

Excellent I just ate at this wonderful find today and it was EXCELLENT! I had the chicken salad sandwich.... yummmmm. It was a bit pricier than I would normally pay, but the quality of the sandwich made up for the price. I also tasted a bite of my friend's pastrami sandwich and it was the BEST that I have ever tasted. [17 Oct 2007 12:35:15]

The Best of Everything Not only are the pastrami sandwiches the best I've ever had, but also the oyster soup (my favorite), orange doughnuts (simply the best), chocolate mousse (intoxicating), pumpkin spice mousse (another favorite), apple turnovers (comfortingly delicious), fruit cake (very dense and delightful), butter cream cakes (OMG), buche de Noel are in a class of their own. No matter what you order here, your mouth will be very pleased and you will be coming back for more. The owner and his family are very welcoming and make all of their customers feel special. If you want an experience you will never forget, drop by for a pastrami sandwich, some oyster soup, and a pastry. [28 Dec 2007 13:43:05]
