Great Italian Fare in a Comfortable Suburban Environment
Luciano's seeks to bring a bit of Tuscany to suburban Washington, D.C., and there's a lot to like in this busy, comfortable, pleasant restaurant.

The food is well above average for a place in a strip mall, the decor is a notch or two above what you'd expecct, the service is old-world cordial and generally attentive, and there's a good quality carry-out that does a fine trade in very good pizza.

The Worst Service Ever
I don't recommend this restaurant unless you can eat your meal in 20 minutes and like to be watched by the entire restaurant staff while you eat. (I'm not kidding about the whole staff watching you eat, they even came out of the kitchen!).
Our waiter acted as if he was doing us a favor and got upset even when we asked him for napkings.
You have to be careful if you pay with a credit card or debit card, because when I paid and wrote down the tip (which was more than enough for the kind of service we got) they had the audacity to take $10 more from my card w/out asking    [25 Jan 2006 13:53:14]

BEST SERVICE AND FOOD AROUND
This place has the best service and food around. We never have a bad time. The bread is fantastic. Always Hot and the pizza is out of this world. My boyfriend and I love to go to Luciano's for dinner and we have a great time, we never get bothered when we go there.    [30 Mar 2006 00:04:55]

Awesome food, great service!
Everything on the menu is good, most are great. Try the Calzone, or just a salad. You'll love it.

Service is attentive without being intrusive, personal and pleasant.
