Cafe Montmartre is one of my favorite places in Reston. This French-Vietnamese restaurant has great atmosphere, fabulous food and - best of all - it doesn't feature the long lines and 1-hour waits of many other Reston restaurants. The restaurant has fabulous outdoor seating overlooking Lake Anne. Each night Cafe Montmartre has fresh fish specials, which are always a great bet.    [06 Feb 2001 16:49:28]

Absolutely love this place!! Great food with wonderful atmosphere. The outdoor seating is the best, but the food and service can make up for everything while sitting inside. So delicious!!    [30 Dec 2003 00:32:34]

Been there a thousand times and never tire of it. Warm staff, fine food, gorgeous outdoor patio (in season) or arty interior in winter. Vietnamese dishes (spring rolls!!!) are to die for. Will mix and match menu items as well.    [27 Sep 2005 11:48:43]

I know it's neither French nor Vietnamese, but I love their hamburger. I don't know what they put in it, but it tastes like heaven on a bun. Also, the best escargot this side of the Atlantic.    [30 Sep 2005 23:08:38]

overlooked in Reston
Skip the regular menu and go for the specials. I had scallops in a saffron sauce a couple of weeks ago, and it was amazing. Staff isn't the friendliest, but attentive. Love the outdoor atmosphere.    [01 Aug 2007 16:36:31]
