great food Though this reaturant is not among the most popular in reston, VA, the food is amazing and at a very fair price. I went there last weekend while visiting a friend. there is good lighting and the atmostphere is very romantic. [17 Jun 2005 00:38:38]

Excellent The atmosphere is incredible. Don't let the outside fool you, this is a very nice place. Some of the service staff had some trouble with English on one of our visits---but it posed no signifigant problem. Food was very, very good, the best Chinese I've had in the area. I'm a sushi fan, but I havn't had the pleasure of trying their sushi yet (they have a full bar). Excellent for take out. [04 Jul 2005 19:03:40]

I'm Chinese - I recommend this restaurant I grew up in New York City and have eaten my share of Chinese food in my lifetime. This restaurant has turned into my favorite Chinese restaurant in NoVA. I have driven up to Maryland Chinese restaurants because there are very few good ones in VA. But I haven't had to drive so far since discovering this place. Be sure to get the Chinese dish menu in addition to the standard American menu. The Chinese menu has English on it also so there is no problem ordering from it. My favorite is the seafood panfried noodles because it evokes memories of NYC Chinatown where I use to eat this dish as a little boy. Crispy tofu with broccoli sprouts or spinach is my wife's favorite. There are many good dishes such as walnut crisp shrimp but do experiment. All the dishes are good. We have been going there now for at least the last four months and will continue to do so as long as their quality remains high. Sometimes when they are busy they forget to refill the water but still good service [07 Sep 2005 23:34:17]

Very Authentic Chinese Food My wife and I eat at Mama Wok as much as three times per month! Ms. June, the owner, makes us feel like special guests every time we go. I recommend the fried squid appetiser and the Singapore Noodles.
June is a former opera singer from Northern China. My wife is from the same hometown.
Bon-Appetite! [11 Apr 2006 12:03:03]

Best Chinese We've Had in Years!!! We have loved every single dish we've ever had from Mama Wok. We have only done delivery (which has always been flawless and more than on time!) and have promised June that we'll come in to meet her in person. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The portions are more than generous, always hot and flavorful!! [28 Aug 2006 19:37:20]
