I was in Williamsburg, VA visiting some friends, and I found your restaurant. It was BY FAR. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! MY WIFE AND I DRIVE DOWN, USUALLY ON OUR
ANNIVERSARY, BIRTHDAYS, AND OTHER SPECIAL OCCASIONS.

THE SERVICE IS TOP-NOTCH, A VERY FRIENDLY AND RELAXING ATMOSPHERE.

I TRY TO SAMPLE EACH SEAFOOD DISH AT LEAST ONCE, ESPECIALLY ANYTHING CRAB-RELATED!

MY WIFE IS LIKE A SURGEON, WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING INTO THE CRAB LEGS, NOTHING GOES TO WASTE!

How we end our vacations
We have been going to Captain George's since we first heard about it in the early 1990's. Now we make it a point, that no matter where we go on vacation, we always spend the last 2-3 days in Williamsburg and go to Captain Georges.
There's no standing around waiting for them to bring out the crab legs or any other item, there's always plenty available. Go hungry and they don't rush you out! The best seafood restaurant by far!    [25 Jul 2003 13:34:27]

Great Valentine's

A place you won't want to leave
I went to Captain George's last summer for the first time and it was the best buffet i have ever been to, I live on the chesapeake bay and it is hard to beat the fresh crabs we get everyday. But captain geoge's tied it. The crab legs were filled to the edges with crabs and there seemed to be a never ending supply every time I went up to get more the tray was filled to the top. The rest of there food is awesome also. I am going back to Williamsburg again this summer and the main thing I am looking forward to is more Captain George'    [02 Feb 2005 11:08:21]

Great Food, Great Service, Great Taste, Great Location
We visited this restaurant when we went to Busch Gardens/Colonial Williamsburg. The buffet was great with choices like Fried Clams, crablegs, and Oysters Rockefeller, just to name a few. The service was great, too. If you were finished with your plate, the staff would gladly take it for you. GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND FOOD
My husband and I happened upon this restaurant on a getaway trip in February. We loved the atmosphere, the food and the friendly, attentive and excellent service.
