Terrific food. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly - customer does not get that "fake" dialogue found at some restaurants. [19 Jun 2002 16:05:20]

Awesome Food and Outstanding Service The menu is great. Not too much, not too little. The selection is just right for a lunch or dinner out. The tables are always clean (they put butcher paper on them). The staff is always friendly and the wait time is never more than a few mins. [05 Feb 2003 13:57:13]

Good Food, Mediocre Service County Grille is a great BBQ restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. On Thursday nights they offer all you can eat ribs for $12.95. The only dissapointment was the service. While we were eating our food the waitress did not check back on us for 15 minutes. It's pointless to get all you can eat when the waitress never checks on you. Fortunately our waitress seemed to be the only one who was giving poor service. [01 Aug 2003 22:59:50]

Poor customer service ..... "We guarantee to provide you with only the very best barbeque around. Call us anytime, seven days a week for more information." I called County Grill on Mar 26 at noon to make a reservation for a large party in the next few months. The staff member that answered the phone said they were extremely busy and I would have to call back after 2pm. I would have expected the staff to at least take my name and number and call me back when things slow down. Needless to say our party will be held elsewhere and their "Call us anytime...." motto is a little watered down. In fairness, I will say that the food is good...but customer service needs to tightened up [26 Mar 2004 15:10:11]

The Best BBQ in town! I love the food and have always had excellent service. I also like the atmosphere, especially sitting outside on nice days. [20 Jun 2004 16:42:28]

Food mediocre, Horrible service I was not impressed at all with the food or the service at the County Grill and Smokehouse. I have been to both restaurants and both of them did not meet my expectations. The drinks that we ordered from the bar were horrible. Both restaurants need a good dose of 409. Yuck! can u say 409 again? Never mind the overweight waitress with the half shirt on and a belly ring!! I'm into country cookin' but clean up your staff, your kitchen and your bathrooms! Otherwise it was real nice. [19 Mar 2006 22:09:35]

The most YUMMY BBQ around!! This is the best BBQ restaurant in the area. My family enjoys a meal at County Grill on average of twice a month. The service is prompt, the food is yummy & plentiful, and we love the variety of BBQ sauces. A very enjoyable experience. d:-) [23 Mar 2006 13:10:30]

The beer was good, but... As far as drinks are concerned, the beer selection is pretty good for a place that doesn't tout themselves as a microbrew bar. There are at least 10 really good microbrews on tap. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs. The ambience was great, kind of a like a hunting lodge with hard wood pillars and tables. The place was clean, but there were gnats flying around over our food, which was quite annoying. The food itself left a little to be desired. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich. The brisket was cut pretty thick, which would have been welcomed if the brisket was tender. It was so tough, that the bun fell apart because I was pulling on the sandwich to take a bite. The brisket was also flavorless, something that you don't expect, especially since the place claimed to have smoked it for 14 hours. I also had the potato salad, which was incredible! I don't know exactly how it was made, but it was delicious! The collard greens were pretty good too. My wife had the pulled pork platter. The pork, much like the brisket, was also bland. County Grill has a good selection of different bbq sauces on the table and you'll need them to provide flavor for your meal. BBQ sauces are meant to augment BBQ, not be the sole provider of flavor. Lastly the bathroom looked like a gas station bathroom rather than a clean restaurant bathroom. It was dirty and had graffitti all over it. With all that being said, I probably wouldn't eat here again, but I believe that it's a good place to pop in for a good microbrew. [08 Nov 2007 19:00:09]
