Great Food Great Service Great Price
The Wilburton Inn outdid itdelf last weekend. We were there on Friday and everything was so perfect. We had a Spina Copita Appetizer and the Onion Mushroom Tart. They were perfect. My Rack of lamb was a perfect medium rare while my wife enjoyed the Shrimp and Mussels which were in a delicate buttery tomato broth perfectly seasoned. The menu was quite limited and only one dessert. I had the Southern Pecan Pie which was outstanding.The chef gave my wife some berries with whipped cream and a drizzle of Grand Marnier. For $35 PRE FIX MENU IT WAS SUPERB. The service was impeccable. The wine list is a bit smaller than it used to be but we found our favorite Chardonnay on it at a reasonable price. Too bad the owners were away, we would have loved to go on the tour!    [20 Jun 2009 09:04:20]
