Kicked out for unknown reason. Went to eat with a bunch of friends. We were there for less than 10 minutes before a manager wearing a chefs hat came out and demanded that we leave or he would be call the police. Everyone had ordered food, and we were not disruptive or loud. He would not allow anyone to even speak to him. I explained that I was waiting for my brother to get his food (he was inside ordering). The manager would not even listen. He kept demanding that I leave. I will not be coming back EVER, and I strongly recommend to anyone planning a get together of friends to not go there. We will bring our gatherings to a more friendly place. [07 Mar 2004 17:20:37]

Death of the classic drive in Unfortunately, something has happened to the classic drive in burger place: it suddenly turned snobish. This place was a great place to get together with friends and enjoy the great american past time, the drive in.
But now it has faded into a business; "get in, get your food, and get out!" What happened to the old days where you sat on your cars and reminisced over days ago? Those days aren't at this burger place.
Fortunately there's still Dick's and the Burger Master in Bothell that still have the classic car atmosphere. If you want to relive those days of yester-year stay away from Bellevue Burger Master and drive 20 more minutes to a real drive-in. [07 Mar 2004 17:35:13]

A few friends and I showed up at the BM on Saturday evening. We went inside, purchased a few combos (burger, fries and drink for each of us) and went outside, and got to talking... After about 30 min of eating, a chef came out w/ a phone in hand threatening to call the cops if we didn't leave! This chef made a lasting impression on my friends who had not eaten there before, enough to where they will not be returning to the Bellevue Burgermaster. [07 Mar 2004 18:34:50]

The manager does not respect his customers Even though everyone purchased and was eating food in the parking lot, the manager stormed out and threatened to call the police. [07 Mar 2004 19:25:04]

We've been eating at Bellevue Burgermaster for fourteen years now Bellevue's Burgermaster is the gold standard of burgers. Not only is the food excellent, the staff has been consistently friendly and helpful. We go there often -- after all, it's where we met on our first date.
I can only believe that the sudden spate of negative reviews are coordinated. We've had nothing but positive experiences there, and those same experiences are shared among everyone we know that goes there. [19 May 2006 19:12:01]

Excellent, Fun, Friendly and Cheap This place is a family fave! This lovely little drive in is great fun and a standard date-night desitination for our family. Kids LOVE bouncing around the back seat and everyone loves the food. Fish is a little gamey, but the chicken, burgers, dogs, fries and onion rings are great! The shakes are really great - go for a malt! Really fun, nice staff, too. [29 Dec 2006 19:37:39]

Decades of Excellent Food and Service We live very close to Burgermaster and have been eating there several times a month since 1988. Their food has been consistently top notch, and the service has always been both fast and friendly, and the manager has always been "hands-on" If he has invited anyone to leave, I am sure he had ample reason, and that the other customers were appreciative of his swift action. We recommend Burgermaster to anyone who will listen. [29 Nov 2007 23:35:29]

good burgers, so-so service I am from Cal and grew up with IN-AND-OUT burgers (THE best in the world.) and was happy to find Burgermaster when I moved up here. BM is the best of the rest, not awesome but surely the best you can get in the Pacific NW.
BUT: Sometimes, the service is questionable at best, probably because of the temperatures, the waiters have to endure during winter months AND food quality is very inconsistent: every other time I go there (once-twice a week) fries are overdone or the burger is just a sloppy ugly something. Today (and thats the reason why I am writing) my burger came with onions and the meat!!! NO TOMATO, no nothing!!! OMG!
Up here, I would still recommend it to people who just cannot resist burgers but I also recommend improving management/service. [28 Dec 2007 21:22:22]
