You'll love this place! My wife and I were out for a Sunday drive along Chuckanut Drive when we passed Chuckanut Manor. The reader board out front said "Sunday Brunch" so we decided to stop for lunch. That was six months ago and we have been back EVERY Sunday since even though we live over 60 miles away!
The choice of food is incredible: roast beef, ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, oysters, there's biscuits and country gravey, eggs benedict, your choice of omelets made on the spot with your choice of many ingredients. Fresh fruit includes watermelon, fresh pineapple (my personal favorite), and more depending on the season. There are waffles with syrup or blueberry sauce. Then there are the dessert dishes. WOW! I think they are all made in-house but not sure. There must be at least 15 choices if not more. My favorite include cheese cake, pudding, cream filled danish and fresh baked goods!!
There is much more that I have left out. The tables are filled with goodies and stretches about 30 feet!! And to top it off there is a free glass of champagne! All this and more for about $18.00 per person!
In all the times we have been there we have never had anything but excellent service. When you are finished with your first plate (and you will want to go back for more)just leave your plate on your table and go get a fresh plate. When you get back to your table, your dirty plates will have disappeared. There are lots of tables next to windows that look out over the bay to the Olympic Mountains!
We must not be the only ones that feel this way because every Sunday the restaurant is filled with customers. [18 Jan 2004 08:56:13]

Going Downhill? Dined a couple of months ago at Chuckanut Manor for brunch and found it fairly good. We returned this evening for to have a drink or two with an appetizer for Happy Hour. The selection of appetizers were less than previously with higher prices. There were no drink specials.
Ordered bruschetta and found it to be the worst we have ever had. The "toasted" french bread was a soggy mess -- there was no way to know that it was toasted or that I was supposedly eating bruchetta. The taste was poor and the texture was worse.
When I asked if they had "house" wine -- after some consideration, the bartender decided that they had one white wine that would be "house" -- no red. Okay -- so we had one house wine, one draft beer and a happy hour bruchetta..... with tax and only a 10% tip we paid a total of $21.00.
Really bad experience -- went down the street to another restaurant -- had a bottle of wine and great food. Would not recommend this restaurant! [17 Feb 2007 00:20:46]

11/28/07 - Chuckanut better than ever After reading a previous review (Feb/2007), I had to respond. Have dined, lunched, and brunched at Chuckanut easily 25 times during the past 5 years. If you are looking for a Four Seasons experience this is not it. It's more causual, yet elegant with linen, silver, and candlelight. The food is as good in every way. And the view and service are as fine as you'll find. Off the beaten path, with a touch of old-fashioned, and truly a treat. I've tried every waterfront brunch from Portland to BC and Chuckanut, along with Palisade in Seattle, are simply, and hands-down the best. Unique in that it has a certain quality and setting that makes it very nice for couples, families, and special occassions as well. Busy on the weekends espcially so make a reservation. Quiet and undisturbing week days and evenings mid-week: perfect for a light romantic moment or for catching up with a friend. Put this one on your must-do list. [28 Nov 2007 14:48:57]
