Outstanding German cuisine in Leavenworth Outstanding German restaurant complete with excellent German beers hard to find in America. Not only are the German entrees authentic and tasty, but the desserts should not be missed, either. A must-eat while in Leavenworth! [22 Sep 2005 19:18:50]

Excellent food I've eaten here at least 4 times and it's always been wonderful. The Jaegersnitchel (sp?) is wonderful. Great for the whole family too. [03 Dec 2005 10:02:04]

Staff As Nice As They Come Staff as nice as they come. Delicious German food & feeling too. And so romantic! Best in the summer in the evenings or around Oktoberfest. Over all a great fun delicious experience. [03 Mar 2006 21:11:03]

An okay place My gf and I went for lunch on Saturday, April 22nd around 1:30pm.
The place seemed 50% to 60% full, but service was slow... Short-handed? We waited 10 minutes for them to clear a table and was seated on the side where it appears they added-on to what used to be a balcony to add extra tables to the restaurants.
We waited for water and for our orders to be taken. Other tables that were seated 5 to 10 minutes after us had their waters and orders taken before us.
The waitress was nice, but overworked (?).
We had the sausage sampler and beef goulash soup.
Food was okay, but the soup was slightly bland.
Overall, we had an okay experience, we would probably give this place another try. [26 Apr 2006 12:45:23]

Ask anyone in my family, if I am within 50 miles I will come up with an excuse to eat here! I have never been disappointed. I only get to go 4-5 times a year so I aways overdo it. It is the most authentic German food I have eaten here in America. They even made my wife Rouladen once when it wasn't even on the menu. It was great! [11 Nov 2006 05:04:28]

No way again will I eat here again! I've eaten pea salad at Cafe Christa several times but truly disappointed this time. I think the price of half a sandwich with a small lettuce only salad for $10 is ridiculous. [24 Aug 2008 21:49:46]
